Starting June 15th one room will be available for sublet in a rent-stabilized 3-BR in Prospect-Lefferts-Garden right off the park. Starting August 1st you can take over the lease for the whole place with an option to renew the lease.
The room is in a 3-BR that you will mostly have to yourself until the end of July when my roommate is going to be there for a week to move out. The room is upstairs and has a private half-bathroom as well as access to the terrace. Downstairs is the spacious shared kitchen with a dishwasher as well as a separate room that can be used as an office/living room. There are washers/dryers in the basement as well as bike storage.
The apartment is one block from Prospect Park, 5min from the Parkside Q stop, 7min from the B at Church Avenue. The apartment is quiet, sunny, and well connected (you are in Manhattan in less than 30min).
I am looking for someone who is respectful with sharing the space. Rent for the room is $1700 a month, rent for the whole apartment $3200 + utilities. The landlord requires proof of income (40x rent) or a guarantor that fulfills that requirement. Photos were taken when the room was furnished, it will be mostly unfurnished when you move.
